One Job Websites ← Back to site

After the first 6 months

Your free edits run out.
Nothing else changes.

Every One Job website comes with 6 months of free small edits. This page explains, up front, exactly what happens on day 181. No surprises, because surprises are how the other mob operate.

Read this bit if you read nothing else

Nothing starts automatically. No fee kicks in. No card gets charged. Your website keeps running exactly as it is, forever, whether you spend another dollar with me or not.

You own the site. You own the domain. You have every login. If you never speak to me again after month 6, your website carries on working and it costs you nothing but your domain renewal, about $20 a year, paid to your registrar, not to me.

The two options below are there if you want them. That is the whole story.

Two ways to get changes done

Ring me when you need me

No plan. No commitment. Nothing.

$120 per change

No GST on top. That is the price.

  • Text me what you want changed
  • I quote it if it is bigger than a small edit
  • Done, usually same day or next
  • You pay for that one job and that is the end of it
  • Go months or years without contacting me, no problem

Best if your details never change and you just want the site sitting there doing its job.

Most tradies pick this

Site Care

I stay on the tools for your website.

$49 a month

No GST on top. That is the price.

Cancel any time, no exit fee
  • Unlimited small edits. Text me, it is done
  • Your domain renewal handled. You never lose your name because a reminder went to an old email
  • Monthly backup of your whole site
  • Uptime monitoring. If your site goes down I know before you do
  • Google Business Profile kept current with your hours, services and photos
  • Front of the queue when you need something urgent

Best if your prices, photos, services or crew change through the year. Two changes and it has paid for itself.

Do the sums yourself. One change a year, ring me and pay the $120. More than two, the plan is cheaper and you stop thinking about it. I am not going to talk you into the wrong one.

What counts as a small edit

Same list as your free 6 months. Nothing shrinks when you start paying.

Small editQuoted separately
New phone number, email or hoursA whole new page
Swapping or adding job photosRedesigning the site or changing the look
Updating prices or a service descriptionOnline shop, booking system or calculator
Adding or removing a suburb from your areaA second site or a landing page
Fixing a typo or rewording a paragraphLogo design or brand work
Adding a new service to your listAd campaigns or ongoing SEO work

Bigger jobs get quoted before I touch them, whether you are on a plan or not. You will never get an invoice for something you did not agree to first.

Fair questions

"So this is the monthly fee you said you don't do?"

No. The difference is what the money is for. The other mob charge you monthly to keep your website switched on, and the day you stop paying, your site disappears, because they own it, not you.

Your site is yours. It stays up whether you pay me anything or not. Site Care buys you my time and my attention, not permission to keep your own website. If that stops being worth $49 to you, cancel it and nothing happens to your site.

"What if I cancel?"

Text me and it stops at the end of that month. No exit fee, no notice period, no phone call where I try to talk you round. Your site keeps running. Your domain stays yours. You go back to paying $120 a change if you ever need something, or you do it yourself.

"Can I start it later, or come back to it?"

Yes. Start it in month 7, month 20, or never. Come back after cancelling and there is no rejoining fee. It is month to month, not a contract.

"What happens to my domain if I'm not on a plan?"

It is registered in your name, so the renewal notice goes to you and you pay your registrar directly, about $20 to $30 a year. Set a reminder in your phone the day you get it, because if a domain lapses somebody else can grab it and your website and email go with it. Handling that renewal for you is one of the things Site Care covers.

"Is there a discount for paying yearly?"

Ask me. If you want to pay the year up front I will look after you on it.

"What if the site breaks and it was your fault?"

Fixed free, any time, plan or no plan. That is not a service, that is me cleaning up my own mess. Same goes for your rights under Australian Consumer Law, which do not expire in 6 months. See the Terms.

Want it, or want to think about it?

Either is fine. Text me and I will set it up, or ring and ask me anything on this page.

Billy Howard. If I'm on another call, text me and I'll get back to you at smoko.

GST. One Job Websites is not currently registered for GST, so no GST is charged on any price on this page and none is included in them. If that changes I will update this page and tell existing customers before it affects them.

The detail. Site Care sits on top of the Terms of Service. Prices here are current as at 27 July 2026 and may change for new sign-ups, but I will not raise the price on you mid-plan without telling you first. [TO CONFIRM: how customers pay the $49 — bank transfer, direct debit, or card.]
